9/26 成長二班 update

親愛的家長

這次上課是複習第二課 ,每位小朋友都很棒
目前已經有四位小朋友得到十個印章了喲 !
**請每次上課都要帶自卡 ,下次要上第三課**

二班的同學 寫字方面都有明顯的進步
希望我們再加強 說的部分
然後再延伸到寫句子

9/26 - 10/2 announcement

Dear Parents,

Agenda for 9/26
1. Review Lesson 3
2. Lesson 4 - 吃豆 (圍圍兜,吃豆豆,掉了一地豆。)Target symbols: ㄉㄡ
3. Pinyin combination practice - from lesson 1-4.
4. Story - Percival the Plain Little Caterpillar (Story was told in Chinese.)
5. Review 一二三木頭人rhyme and target characters.
6. Review game for target characters.

Homework
1. Read aloud lesson 4 and  recognize all the target symbols from 1-4.
2. Read aloud 一二三木頭人 and recognized target characters. (A handout was sent home today.)
3. Review lesson 1~ 4 texts and all the target symbols with combination.

Next class- 10/3, Review lesson 1~4 and we will have "reading aloud" and "sounding phonetics" assessments.

Please help your child review Chinese as often as possible and make it a pleasant routines.  Try to make reviewing Chinese fun and encouraging. Have your child tell you the lessons (text contents), or ask him/her to talk about the pictures in the lessons.  Let your child practice express him/herself in Chinese and you assist your child alongside.  (Do not just read aloud the texts without any interactions.  That is really boring!) 

You child needs your motivation and involvement.  If you did not show your enthusiasm, your child's interests in learning Chinese will not increase.

Again, thank you for your support and let's work together to make learning Chinese fun and productive.

Sign Language song learning resource

Due to the feedback from some parents, I posted the You Tube web site link of the sign language song we are learning under ‘手語’. Hope you can practice the song and sign language with your kids. We plan to practice '讓愛傳出去’ for another week. After that we are going to introduce you a new song. Please log back on to check it out.

親愛的家長們

成長小班第三堂課(9/19)課後叮嚀

親愛的成長小班家長們:

今天上課內容:
注 音 ㄇㄜ
國 字 妹妹
課文內容 妹妹摸貓咪,貓咪笑咪咪。(取自小康軒撥種篇)

今天一開始說了怪獸阿抖的故事,希望讓孩子們了解每個人都能可以自己選擇讓生活更美好。

後來請孩子們上台背頌上次的課程內容 (婆婆拍皮球,大家拍拍手),指出ㄅㄆㄇㄚㄛ,或是國字(爸爸,寶寶,婆婆) ,孩子們都好踴躍舉著小小的手要上台。真的很棒。老師本來想好的抽籤箱看來是用不到了(笑) 。

2歲以下的小小孩們雖然不一定能完成指令,但老師還是設計了一個絨布版故事時間,讓小小孩也能上台有參與感。

爸爸媽媽你們在家教導也辛苦了,你們的努力會一點一滴的會看到成果的,我們一起加油。

9/19 - 9/26 annoucement

Dear parents,

At the beginning of today's class, most kids did the show (their drawing of 4 rabbits story) and tell (the story of 4 rabbits). Good job!

We learned lesson 3.
Target symbols: ㄈㄟ
Text: 蜜蜂飛 蝴蝶飛 小鳥飛飛飛
Object: 肥皂 痱子粉

We also practiced 一二三, 木頭人 by playing word cards. We will play more games next week to ensure kids are familiar with those words.

Assignment: 2 pages of ㄈㄟ practice. For 4 years old, you may let the kid(s) use different colors of crayons to "trace" Zhuyin" symbols. For 4 years old, the child’s hand is flexible and malleable and his movement may not be yet set. Do not force them to write, if they do not feel like to, but practice pronunciation and different combination of Zhuyin with them. For 5 or 6 years old, you may let him or her use pencils if (s)he is ready.

成長二班 第四堂課

上週休息了一次沒有上課, 原以為小朋友會忘記第一課的生字,
小考後, 讓我有一些意外,發現比上次考試的結果更好.
兩位男生 100 分 ,其他的小朋友, 都只有錯一個字 很棒喔!

這次是上第二課 小朋友已經熟悉和我上課的默契了
說故事-->課文朗讀 --> 生字練習 -->句子練習

如果小朋友累積到十個印章 我會帶小禮物讓他選 好像已經快有人得到了喲!!
問問看你家的小朋友 有幾個印章喔?!

9/12 - 9/18 annoucement - 2

Dear parents,

We reviewed ㄅㄚㄆㄨ today. Most of the kids can say and recognize Zhuying smybol ㄅ,ㄚ,ㄆ,and ㄨ individually, as well as the combination of ㄅㄚand ㄆㄨ. They were also done a good job reading aloud the lesson 1 and lesson 2 texts.

The combination of ㄅㄨ and ㄆㄚ still seems challenging to some kids. Please work with the kids at home for different “Zhuying” combinations.

We also learned the followings
(1) 認字: 一 二 三 木 人.
(2) 課文: 一二三, 木頭人, 不要跑, 不要動



Final reminder,

(1) Pleae bring the folder back to class next Sun. The papers inside the left pocket of the folder should be returned to school. The papers inside the right pocket of the folder are meant to stay home for parents to review with the kids especially if they are still left blank.
(2) The assignment (see the annoucement from Ms. Tung Fen below. )

Dear Parents,

Agenda for 9/12:
1. Review lesson 1 & 2 - read aloud in group and individually
2. Review 4 target pinyin symbols and combination- play games
3. Story 故事: 四隻小兔(At home, please ask your child to draw pictures of the story while listening to the story from the VOCAROO. Have fun working with your child!)
4. Please remember to bring your drawings to class to share and retell the story.
